Associate Scientist - small molecule

My client, a global CRO company in Co. Westmeath, Ireland, is currently recruiting for an Associate Scientist to join their growing team!
This role will be based in the company’s small molecule laboratory. This laboratory group works with multiple pharmaceutical products and formulations including tablets and capsules.


Duties and responsibilities are:

• Perform a variety of sample preparations
• Analysis procedures to quantitatively measure pharmaceutical compounds in a variety of formations for stability testing and other studies for analytical testing support
• Performing work assignments accurately, timely and in a safe manner
• Training on routine operation, maintenance and theory of analytical instrumentation, SOPs, and regulatory procedures and guidelines.
Job Qualification
Qualifications & Experience:

• Educated to a bachelor’s degree level in Science/Chemistry
• 2 years’ experience within a GMP laboratory
• Industry experience with lab techniques including dissolution, UV-Vis, FT-IR, HPLC, or GC, etc
• The ability to plan, schedule and carry out work for successful project completion
• A positive attitude and ability to work well with others
• The ability to write protocols and reports with minimum supervision
• Excellent attention to detail
• Be able to communicate effectively and follow detailed written and verbal instruction
