Principal Biostatistician - Global Pharmaceutical Company
Location: UK - Remote
The Role:
- Lead statistical activities and oversee the production of SAP's. Proactively provide expert statistical input and problem solving to ensure high quality and efficient data generation and correct data interpretation. Direct appropriate teams to ensure appropriate statistical approaches are being adopted. Interact with other functions to ensure timely delivery. Provide strategic input, beyond pure statistical delivery, into areas of responsibility. Respond to business requests for technical support and interact with the appropriate management/leadership teams to understand both their scientific and business needs, prioritise their statistical requirements, and feedback statistics contribution on a regular basis. Effectively communicate and influence senior management team level.
About you:
- MSc or PhD in Statistics (or equivalent recognised qualification) Several years' record of accomplishment, applying statistical ideas to solve critical business problems within multiple therapy areas. (Oncology is desired) Experienced user of one or more mainstream statistical packages (e.g. R or SAS) Strong technical skills Highly developed consultancy skills
