Associate Director Biostatistician

I am working with a global CRO who is looking for a lead Associate Director Biostatistician for a Pharmaceutical company. The role will be joining a team which is leading drug discovery in Infectious Diseases and Vaccines (IDV). This role will be pivotal to create statistical methodology for drug discovery and trials.

You will have excellent analysis skills, experimental design suggestions and through appropriate reporting and communication of data evidence for research and development.

This will be to work on an FSP model. To apply you must have the following:

• Proficiency in SAS or R programming
• Knowledge of experimental design, (non)-linear mixed models, multivariate analyses, Bayesian statistics, predictive modelling and/or expertise in modern visualization methods.
• 5 years plus experience working within a similar role
• Preclinical trhough to phase I to III and late drug descovery
• Manage multiple projects.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Statistics or related field with minimum 0-2 years relevant experience, or Master's in Statistics or related field with commensurate years of relevant experience.
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in SAS or R programming
• Knowledge of experimental design, (non)-linear mixed models, multivariate analyses, Bayesian statistics, predictive modelling and/or expertise in modern visualization methods.
• Eagerness to continuously learn about the relevant underlying science and to expand statistical and computing expertise.
