Our client is a healthcare communication agency who pioneer cutting edge medical education and communications programmes. They are seeking an Account Director to join their Cheshire office to oversee the delivery of their behaviour changing work that aims to improve outcomes and enhance patients’ lives.
In partnership with the Medical Writing team, Creative team and other in-house and external experts, you will provide account direction to ensure that projects exceed client expectations and are delivered to budget.

Responsibilities:
- Empowering the team, ensuring things are done well and consistently
- Building strong working relationships with clients, being an established point of contact and being recognised as a strategic partner
- Overall fiscal management and accountability for designated accounts including revenue forecasting
- Managing multiple projects, leading teams, leading after project review meetings highlighting excellence and areas of improvement
- Mentoring team members to enable personal development
- Building innovative programmes and content
- Organically grow existing accounts
- Educated to degree level, preferably in a life science
- Previous experience in creating innovative strategic programs for clients gained in a medical communications environment is a must
- Experienced in coaching, mentoring or managing others
- Strong fiscal management expertise and proven track record on growth account management
- Experience in building strong external and internal partnerships
- Experience problem solving and providing solutions
