Senior Epidemiologist

Senior Epidemiologist - Contract - 12 Months

I'm looking to speak with an experienced epidemiologist who takes great pride and ownership in their work. You will be working with an Oncology portfolio in a global pharmaceutical business. 

You will be comfortable with:

• Contributing to or leading execution of observational Oncology research projects including observational studies and ad hoc requests
• Contributing to the development and/or review of project documents, including but not limited to study protocols, statistical analysis plans and study reports
• Contributing to or leading the statistical analyses of observational research projects and contribute to the interpretation of results
• Communicating scientific information to a variety of audiences

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the preparation of study reports, conference abstracts and presentations, and manuscripts
• Support intra-departmental and inter-departmental cross-functional activities to accomplish business objectives
• Review, synthesize, and critique the published literature and generate (systematic) reviews
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of analysis methods and data resources in the field of Epidemiology and observational research
• May assess new data resources and support implementation of new methods

Required Experience:

• Educated to Degree level in mathematics, statistics or related discipline
• MSc/PhD in Epidemiology or related discipline
• In depth knowledge of epidemiological methods and medical statistics, and management of large data sets
• Experience of creating studies, from proposal writing to publication
