Our client is a flourishing medical communication company seeking an experienced Senior Medical Writer to join their editorial team in their Surrey office.
You will be responsible for creating and developing medical education materials across an array of therapy areas and accounts, whilst providing support in project management and mentoring more junior members of the team. There is an opportunity to develop project management and line management skills too.

Responsibilities:
- Research and write a broad range of medical communication materials
- Act as lead on designated client projects
- Build and maintain relationships with your clients and external experts
- Ensure that your own work and that of your team is of high quality and meets the client’s communication objectives
- Lead and mentor junior members of the team
- Identify new business opportunities and assist with the development of proposals and pitches
- Life Science degree, BSc, MSc or PhD
- Significant medical writing experience gained in a medical communications agency
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
