What you can achieve in the Position
Joining the team as an efficient and deadline-focused individual, you will be motivated by the challenge of developing, implementing, and streamlining the logistics processes of commercial products throughout their entire product lifecycle.
Working collaboratively across many functions, you will execute logistics plans to move raw materials, intermediates, and finished product to reach intended destinations on schedule. You will proactively manage information accumulated from point of origin to delivery, optimise transportation activities, and confidently handle customs requirements in a timely manner. As the main line of communication to relevant stakeholders, you will build successful working relationships and provide valuable input into resource planning discussions.
What you will bring to the Position
With demonstrated experience working in the pharmaceutical, agricultural, or cold storage/perishable goods industry, you will have an in-depth understanding of importing and exporting within Australia and other major global markets.
As a proactive individual, you will be tactical, resourceful, and forward-thinking, with an eagerness to break new ground while also comfortably dealing with ambiguity. Your highly effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to support teams in the generation of ideas and opportunities and turn them into positive results, will see you thrive in this interesting and fulfilling role.
This role is offered as permanent part-time, with hours/days to be considered with the successful applicant.
