Main Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Production Manager to join our IMP (Investigational Medical Products) Management department in Merthyr Tydfil.
You will have oversight for medicines production and dispensing at Simbec-Orion and will be responsible for scheduling, management and monitoring of production activities to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).

Minimum Requirements:
Essential:
- Degree in Science subject (2:2 or above)
- Previous experience within a supervisor role either directing workload or managing a team of people.
- Previous experience of working with clients and subcontractors
- Clear and accurate verbal and written communication, including use of Word, Powerpoint and Excel
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to prioritise
- Negotiating skills
Desirable:
- Previous experience of working in a pharmaceutical, research or healthcare setting
- Previous experience of working within a Quality System/GxP environment
- Previous experience of writing standard operating procedures
- Previous experience of managing and tracking budgets
