An exciting, Oxford based biotech require an experienced Clinical Programme Lead/Director to support the growth of the business. This company has played an active part in the development of vaccines for Covid19 and are developing an interesting pipeline of products.
Reporting directly to the Head of Clinical Operations, the Clinical Programme Lead will have accountability for key development milestones for assigned study programmes. You will be responsible for financial planning, quality delivery and provide input into corporate strategy. This is a newly created position and will be a pivotal role within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct, plan, manage and drive Clinical Studies/Programme/s from feasibility, synopsis
and protocol development, vendor selection through to execution.
- Clinical Programme stakeholder updates including presentations
- Interacting, influencing and communicating with key stakeholders, including regulatory,
and manufacturing departments
- Ensure Clinical Studies are managed effectively and efficiently and executed according
to clinical and company timelines
- Contribute to design, development, improvement or redesign of Clinical processes.
- Drive timelines to achieve Clinical Programme objectives in line with corporate objectives
- Accountable for the Clinical Studies/Programme budget
Candidate Requirements:
- Clinical Programme Leadership experience within pharma or biotechnology field
- Experience of delivering early clinical development programmes within complex therapy
areas such as oncology, neurology, vaccines
- Demonstrable experience of line management and oversight of cross-functional teams
- Gravitas to lead, motivate and influence both internal and external stakeholders
- Clear and concise communicator
- Open to assisting with project management activities when required
- Life Science Degree
The successful applicant will be rewarded with a competitive base salary and benefits that include share options. This role is currently fully remote however there will be a requirement to be in the office at least 1-2 times per week once it is safe to do so.
