Albion Rye Associates are working in partnership with an excellent biotech in the West Coast, currently studying a new generation of compounds that may diminish the effects of excess cortisol, searching for a Associate Director, Clinical Data Management.

You will be responsible for driving excellence across the Clinical Data Management team, ensuring optimized data collection, flow and access across EDC and non-EDC data sources. Responsible for accuracy, completeness and CDISC compliance of clinical databases. Working in cooperation with the Senior Director of Biometrics to select and maintain a preferred vendor network for Biometrics.

Principal responsibilities will include to:

·        Manage strategic input into the design of data flow across EDC and non-EDC data sources

·        Manage data management service providers

·        Review, propose and obtain bids for tools enabling real-time data visualization, interrogation and reporting

·        Manage and oversee SAE reconciliation between clinical and pharmacovigilance database

·        Provide subject matter expertise to project team members during all phases of project life cycle, internal and external audits and inspections

Your Background:

·        BSc/BA or higher in science, math or computer science – MSc in health care or life science is preferred

·        Substantial experience in Data Management in the clinical trial industry

·        Significant experience managing Data Management CROs/vendors

·        Endocrinology clinical trials and CDISC experience is a plus

·        Direct report and oversight experience - Demonstrated strong management abilities for project and staff management of Data Management Deliverables

This role will be based in the West Coast with a preference to the San Francisco are. Although other locations will be considered too.
