Cpl Life Sciences is partnering with one of our large pharma clients to resource an HTA Associate Director on a 6 month contract to perform the following tasks;

To form strategic partnerships based on the changing reimbursement environment and provide guidance on the implementation of health economic and outcomes research (HEOR) evidence generation strategies to support the value proposition of an asset. You will also work in collaboration with the market access and HTA operations teams to ensure the HEOR activities are aligned with the end-to-end market access strategy and you will be an ambassador for H&V as an HTA expert internally (x-functionally at a local and global level).

From a technical expertise perspective, you will be responsible for managing an assets HTA submission strategy (NICE, SMC, AWMSG) from start to finish and provide strategic and/or technical input into outcome study designs, RWE collection, economic models; evidence synthesis projects as well as pricing and HTA readiness activities. You will partner with the HTA senior economist to develop an asset evaluation, robust value propositions and negotiation packages for payers and other external parties, in order to demonstrate the holistic value of the medicines & vaccines

We are seeking Candidates with a postgraduate qualification in Health Economics or Outcomes Research and demonstrable experience in all aspects of HTA submissions to NICE & SMC. You will also have experience of designing, building and adapting health economics models and significant experience of conducting evidence generation (SLRs, NMAs, ITCs) with a thorough understanding of the UK healthcare system

We also require strong research skills, with ability to build, adapt and critique health economic models and source data inputs as well as demonstrating good time management skills, including the ability to manage own time and others time to meet deadlines and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
