This is an exciting opportunity for a Market Access Team Lead to support our dynamic and highly successful Oncology business unit.

Our UK Marketing Company (UKMC) is responsible for the marketing of our medicines in the UK. It has been agreed that the UKMC head office will move from Luton to Pancras Square, London in early 2022. This role will be initially based in our Luton office, until this move takes place.

Our move to Pancras Square offers us the strongest possible platform to transform the lives of patients in the UK, as the country's leading biopharmaceutical company. The move will bring the UK Marketing Company closer to customers, partners and stakeholders in the UK's healthcare environment, as well as foster greater collaboration with the wider AZUK footprint.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic lead for HTA (Health Technology Appraisal) engagements.

  • Leading a team to deliver high quality evidence submissions to HTA bodies and drive access to AZ products in the UK Market.

  • Work with Head of Strategic Pricing, Marketing, Medical, Got Affairs and Policy to shape National value propositions to drive uptake of Oncology products.

  • Work with Government Affairs and Policy to shape the external access environment to enable improved access opportunities for your franchise.

Essential skills and experience:
  • Masters degree in Health Economics, Evidence based medicine, Epidemiology or related discipline

  • Demonstrated Market Access leadership experience within the pharma industry

  • Proven successes across UK HTA/National Access engagements

  • Experience in AZ strategic therapy areas, especially oncology

  • Experience of leading a complex matrix of internal & external stakeholders
