TalentSource Life Sciences, the division of CROMSOURCE dedicated to flexible staffing solutions, is currently recruiting for a Medical Solution Lead Immunology to join our client-based team. This is for one of the leading global biopharmaceutical companies, with a focus on Neurology and Immunology. This is a home based position in the UK, working 3 days a week (22.5 hours) for 6 months. Please note this role falls inside IR35.
Scope of the role:
The Medical Solution Lead is responsible for the local adaptation and translation of appropriate scientific content and securing connection the with the EU medical Immunology team and will address barriers to the efficient development of materials and assets for the field.
In this role you will:
- be a driver of the localization and implementation of the medical plan in partnership with the immunology team
- ensure the delivery of high value for patients, HCPs and Payers according to the highest standards of science, ethics, compliance and quality
- show strong collaboration skills with all internal and external stakeholders and specifically with the field force, the medical team
- ensure that all medical solutions are consistent with the highest possible scientific standards
Job specific tasks and responsibilities:
Solutions - localization and implementation of the scientific solutions within the global strategy :
- Implement the local medical solutions as they are defined in the local plan
- Localize global solutions for UK (incl Northern Ireland) and Republic of Ireland in line with local insights and budget
- Implement specific local solutions in a timely manner according to the plan (e.g. MSL materials, advisory boards, RWE, local and international congresses, medical trainings for customer facing roles, contribute to cycle meetings…) and ensure the project management and budget follow-up
- Ensure all promotional and medical solutions have obtained local compliance approval
- Partner with the necessary external stakeholders on key projects that will drive patient value
- Execute a communication plan in line with the strategy and local insights
- Contribute to guideline initiatives in terms of scientific content
Planning - Collaborate on annual planning processes:
- Collaborate on the annual local plan
- Integrate and align global medical strategies and tactics in local plan
- Collaborate with the UK (incl Northern Ireland) and Republic of Ireland marketing solutions leads to ensure that the local plan initiatives are optimally balanced to drive maximum patient value from a patient environment's point of view
- Create and execute local stakeholder plan for UK (incl Northern Ireland) and Republic of Ireland
Connectivity
- Ensure appropriateness and consistency of contents dissemination through the different stakeholder facing roles across the UK (incl Northern Ireland) and Republic of Ireland eco-systems during training sessions and cycle meetings
- Building partner relationship with key external (agencies, key opinion leaders, patient association, health authorities,) and internal stakeholders
Education and Experience:
- Masters' degree in life sciences or healthcare required
- MD, PharmD, PhD preferred
- +5 years of experience in stakeholder facing roles within healthcare
- Experience in working within multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of local healthcare compliance and pharma environment
- Experience in medical plan execution
- Affinity with omnichannel approach
Skills:
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication (oral and written), diplomatic, interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills
- Effective organisation skills
- Needs team work ethic to be able work cross-functionally
- Patient and customer focused approach to all activities
