Development Engineer Sensors and Signals Processing – 897220 UR

Our client is a leading Medical Technology company in Switzerland. It is headquartered in Central Switzerland and has a global network of production sites, subsidiaries and sales partners. For our clients Technology division in the Product Development HW&SW department, we are looking for a technically experienced Development Engineer -Sensors and Signals Processing for a permanent role to be based in Central Switzerland area.

Main Responsibilities:

• Analysis and evaluation of sensor data
• Creation of numerical simulations for evaluation and as a verification reference
• Collaboration in the development of infusion and injection systems with regard to signal acquisition (sensor technology), signal processing and modeling
• Development of robust real-time algorithms
• Implementation and verification of the signal processing concepts in a low power embedded system
• Specification, analysis, design, implementation, verification and documentation of class C medical devices according to IEC 62304
• Participation in interdisciplinary project teams (electronics, mechanics, app development and systems engineering)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Engineer (Bachelor, Master, PhD) specializing in electrical, micro, medical technology or comparable
• Experience with software tools for modeling technical systems (Python, Matlab, Simulink etc.)
• Experience in sensor technology and signal processing on low power embedded systems
• Enjoy developing safe and reliable algorithms
• Experience with development methods such as unit test and continuous integration is an advantage
• English fluency.
