Senior Consultant Biostatistician (Home-Based)

Hobson Prior are seeking a Senior Consultant Biostatistician to join a mid-sized CRO organisation who focuses on in developing therapeutics for patients in an pioneering and cost-efficient method. This role is on a permanent basis with the ability to be home-based anywhere in Europe.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will act a Statistical Consultant to internal statistical teams and external clients, vendors and authorities regarding all statistical-related topics including trial design, data integration and aspects of Business Development.
• You will represent the company to multiple European clients, bringing a commercial attitude in order to provide key contributions to Bid Defence meetings and to selling to company's 'Consultancy Services'.
• You will become a key advisor to internal stakeholders and clients regarding clinical trial design and statistical methodology, often acting as a 'hands on' contributor to study design discussions, the development of innovative statistical methodologies, meetings with regulatory authorities and project meetings.
• You will lead the communication channels between the clients and the vendor project teams regarding outsourced project timelines and deliverables.

Requirements:

• PhD (pref) or MSc in Biostatistics, Mathematics or a related topic.
• A minimum of 8+ years' experience as a Statistician within the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or CRO industry.
• Experience using SAS or R programming software is required.
• Experience in a role responsible for managing external relationships (with study teams, clients or vendors) is desirable.
