International Pharmaceutical Manufacturer requires a Multi Skilled Technician - Site
About the role:
Maintenance, calibration, repair, and continual development of all equipment and plant services within the mechanical and electrical scope of the Site Engineering Department with due regard to all relevant regulations, guidelines and practices.
Duties may include:
- Support the shift lead to determine the correct course of action during reactive and planned maintenance activities
- Technical support for the manufacturing team on site to ensure the correct decisions are made to reduce any risk to manufacturing activities
- Deputise for shift lead when required
- An individual contributor with responsibility for their own time management
- Coordination and liaise with Contractor support to ensure all tasks are completed right first time
- Carry out routine maintenance work on all relevant systems supplying the manufacturing areas with a right first time approach.
- Support the Planning and Scheduling of investigation work within Engineering
- Assist the Management team in the delivery of the Site Engineering Team objectives
- Carry out root cause or major incident investigations within their area of expertise
- Maintain all regulatory and non-regulatory documentary records, including Training Folders, Equipment Logbooks, Calibration Records within CMX and Mainsaver.
- Take responsibility for own training records and development to ensure compliance to key performance indicators
- Ensuring work orders have valuable detail for asset history following the functional failure guidelines
- Ensure all tools, materials and spare parts are ordered/available for the successful planning of all assigned works
- Provide feedback on all tasks for continuous improvement of all maintenance activities
- Provide support to the following areas:
- Development of routine maintenance activities
- All aspects of the Quality system
- Capital Projects
- Asset Operational development
Skills and experience:
Ability to perform Engineering and Maintenance activities to a high standard on Pharmaceutical Utilities and associated equipment including:
- Sterile Steam Systems
- Purified and Sterile Water Systems
- Clean Room Environments
- Building Management Systems
Lead and participate in Continuous Improvement teams
GMP training and experience
HNC or equivalent formal qualification in main discipline
Full indentured apprenticeship with experience and additional study
Formal qualification in at least one other engineering discipline
Formal qualifications for statutory requirements such as B&P, L8, 17th ED
IOSH / NEBOSH accreditation
