Our client is apart of an established medical communications agency, seeking a Medical Writer to join their fantastic team in their Surrey office.
Under the guidance and mentorship of more senior members of the editorial team, you will be developing a range of high quality medical educational materials for their pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. You will be expected to work on both European and global accounts for diverse array of therapy areas including; asthma, diabetes, cardiology respiratory, dermatology and oncology.
The Medical writer will be expected to create high quality work along a range of deliverables and therapies, within timescales and within the proposed project budget.

Responsibilities:
- Produce high quality medical writing
- Develop briefing and reviewing skills
- Ensure the accuracy of all information, data and referencing for the projects that you produce
- Become familiar with client products, therapy areas, portfolio, and clinical and commercial strategy
- Develop understanding of industry codes of practice / legislation
- Work collaboratively with account team members to ensure that all account objectives are met
- Start to build relationships with clients and external experts
- Develop understanding of projects scoping, budgeting and reconciliation
- Possess a life science degree; PhD or MSc would be advantageous
- Experience of medical writing in medical communications environment
- Ability to research medical literature effectively
- Hold the ability to prioritise and balance several priorities or demands
- Energetic, with a professional mannerism
- Good attention to detail and excellent quality-control skills
- Proficient in standard software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Well-organised and able to plan work effectively
