Senior Statistician- Contract
Location: Homebased
Offer: Competitive day rate
Duration: 8-12 months on going
A top global CRO is looking for a UK based senior statistician. The role will involve you to take a leadership position for a project while also being technical hands on with statical analysis. This is an excellent position offering variety of work across various phases and therapeutic areas, you will lead assigned studies, ensuring they are delivered to optimal quality, on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead on all statistical project activities and statisticians. Act as the lead liaison with the client to provide statistical input for protocol, timeframes and development. Prepare and review study documentation including protocols and statistical analysis plans. Analysis and manipulation clinical trial data using statistical methods Undertake statistical consultancy for sponsor companies
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Must have PhD or MSc in biostatistics or related discipline Experience working within a clinical trials environment (CRO, pharma or academic) Technical experience: previous experience performing statistical analysis using SAS Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have overseen or acted as a lead and team management level.
