Sourcing and Purchasing Manager

As part of our company growth we are seeking a Sourcing and Purchasing Manager. The selected candidate will report to the Chief of Business Operations. The location for the job is the Nanoform Viikinkaari site, Helsinki, Finland

.Job Purpose: 

• Manage the sourcing and purchasing process across the company and the different environments – non-GMP and GMP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and structure the sourcing and purchasing process for Nanoform’s non-GMP and GMP environments
• Conduct, together with QA, supplier audits towards qualification as an approved supplier
• Define and negotiate, together with the functional areas and the legal counsel, minimum service levels and limits for suppliers and subcontractors
• Define user requirements for the sourcing and purchasing system (ERP) together with finance and GMP manufacturing teams.
• Define, establish and manage the logistics process within Nanoform, taking into account importing and exporting requirements and the corresponding INCOTERMS and standard practices in the industry.

Required Education and Experience:

• A Master’s degree in economics, science, engineering or production
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Pharma industry, with experience in managing purchasing processes under non-GMP and GMP environments.
• The ideal candidate would have experience in building sourcing and purchasing systems for non-GMP and GMP environments
• Fluent English
