Freelance Copy Writer

Do you have experience in writing for clients in the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry, - including medical referencing, pitch decks, internal and B2B comms, and will have experience in creative copywriting?

Due to sustainable growth within the business, my client is expanding their writing team and I am looking for an experienced copy writer (with a minimum of 1years’ experience in a healthcare agency).

Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:

• You are a mid-to-senior conceptual copywriter who has previous experience working in an agency
• You will have extensive experience in writing conceptual copy and have a strong understanding of how it can be translated across different channels.
• You can understand detailed medical/scientific information in several therapy areas (oncology or psychiatry are of particular interest)
• You want to be part of a growing team with an interesting brand delivering first-class work.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with clients - from set-up to completion, you will be checking in with the client regularly, either by phone, email or face-to-face
• Carry out project scoping and create a clear brief, to ensure you understand what the client wants
• Tailor the content and style of individual writing assignments according to their purpose - whether they are intended to sell or inform
• Understand your target audience - you are not writing for the client, you are writing for their readers, so you will need to know what interests them

• Write for webpages, blogs and potentially for social media, e-books, slogans, and video script
