Principal Statisticians & SAS Programmers - (Homebased - UK)

Salary expectations: £60,000 - £80,000 base salary + Bonuses + Car allowance + Extra benefits

The company specialises within Oncology and is award winning within this therapeutic area. They are an industry leading pharmaceutical company with huge growth potential, providing excellent progression opportunities for talented candidates.

The prospect of viewing a study you have played a real part in from start to finish, while the company also offers flexible working - which is rare for a Pharmaceutical company.

Your Role:

  • Hands-on and collaborative approach with other team members - with an ability to influence the team to get results without line management authority
  • Emphasis on delivery while utilising project management and technical leadership abilities
  • Work cooperatively with study team members - Porgrammers, biostatistician and data manager
  • Proactively inform management of the status of statistical programming deliverables and issues
  • Program SDTMs, ADaMs, tables, figures, and listings (TFLs) according to approved specifications
  • Oversee - delivery, clinical study programming/Biostatistcian teams meeting deadlines for multiple projects
  • Mix of technical duties as well as a tailored leading role - reporting to

Statistician Requirements:

  • Minimum: Masters Degree with concentration in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a quantitative/analytical field (PhD in statistical discipline desired)
  • Experience within all phases I-IV
  • Strong leading experience - Projects Mangement
  • Expertise and practical application in multiple statistical methodologies - within clinical trials (7+ years)

Programmer Requirement:

  • Exceptional SAS programming experience - within clinical trials role (7+ years)
  • Excellent experience working to CDISC standards
  • Experience of leading a team and studies
  • Minimum: Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a quantitative/analytical field
  • other programming languages desirable - (R or S-PLUS, VBA, or Perl)
