Clinical Study Start-Up Specialist

DETAILS:

• Full-time contract position
• ASAP start for minimum 12 month contract
• Remote working in the UK

THE ROLE:

• Under the direction of the Submissions and Contracts Lead, coordinate and facilitate the country and site level set-up activities for Clinical Trials within the UK and Ireland on behalf of the Clinical Trial Manager (CTM), to minimise time to initiation.
• To coordinate and facilitate the country and site level submission activities on ongoing studies on behalf of the CTM.
• To support the feasibility process by initiating external research network and site contact during the initial OPU feasibility request.
• Interface across Clinical Operations and externally to ensure timely feasibility and submissions for trials in the UK and Ireland.
• Negotiate and agree costs and contracts in a timely manner and in line with fair market value to allow initiation of sites to open for recruitment.

THE CANDIDATE:

• At least 2 years of recent experience in Ethics Submissions and start up Contract activities for the UK and Ireland.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
• Computer literate and proficient in Excel.
• Able to manage multiple timebound tasks.
• Only candidates with existing right to work in the UK/EU will be considered
