Job Details

Hobson Prior are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join a biotechnology company who are applying cell and gene therapy to fight genetic diseases. This is a home-based contract position where you can be based in either the UK or France.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the European Clinical supply planning and scheduling process for TX200 autologous program, coordinating with various functions including alignment with US Supply Chain team.
  • Work with Manufacturing and Clinical Operations teams to develop and manage forecasting Demand and scheduling Supply activities that are robust, efficient, to ensure on time delivery and Quality supply to Clinical sites.
  • Oversight of CMO for good and timely execution of the packaging and labelling processes to ensure sustained supply, quality, and compliance of final product.
  • Coordinate with GMP Procurement and Logistics leads to implement or improve logistics and inventory management policies for GMP materials used for TX200 in support of manufacturing and clinical plans.
  • Develop and report on KPIs for the execution of supply chain management.
  • Support clinical, CMC manufacturing, and finance with short, medium and long-term supply planning "what if" scenario analysis to enable supply chain decision-making.

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation and written/oral communication skills.
  • Strong focus on patients and customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment that will require management of several competing priorities while driving all projects forward and meeting program/project deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business/Operations Management, Logistics, or Chemistry, Pharmacy or equivalent life science field, ideally with a secondary degree or certification related to Supply Chain Management. MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of experience with increasing responsibility in biopharmaceutical commercial and/or clinical management with good familiarity with EU Regulatory requirements.
  • Ideally some experience managing SC operations for CGT programs; experience with autologous CT is highly desired.
