Our International pharmaceutical client is looking for an experienced HR Advisor , where you will be responsible for providing HR support to all functions within the manufacturing site (incl. Manufacturing, Packaging, Warehouse, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering and Technical) so that business areas can achieve their objectives.


Main duties and responsibilities:

* Supporting the Senior HR Manager plan, implement and deliver the people plan across the manufacturing business.
* Working autonomously and proactively to manage and prioritise their own caseload of complex and sensitive employee relations (ER) cases with stakeholders, ensuring managers comply with employment law, HR policies and procedures and agreed actions are followed up.
* Supporting recruitment activities for intern, apprentice and experience hires including onboarding activities.
* Liaising with the Compensation and Benefits team on benchmarking, banding, benefits, promotions and new hires.
* Providing HR related advice & support to the business as well as being an initial point of contact for queries.
* Delivering of onboarding processes, new starter inductions and training.
* Maintaining of HR based systems and other administrative duties.


Skills & Experience required:
* You will be either qualified to CIPD Level 7 or studying towards the qualification (or equivalent).
* Demonstrated experience in HR supporting and guiding managers in employee relations matters.
* Proven experience of responsibility for day to day HR operational tasks.
* Ideally, experience of Human Resources gained in a manufacturing, life sciences context.
* You will have a demonstrated background in a HR role, including experience in supporting & guiding Managers on employee relations (ER) matters, project work and responsibility for day-to-day HR operational tasks.
* Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate clearly, sensitively, and confidently at all levels.
* Able to adapt to changing conditions with the ability to generate effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems as they are presented.
* Strong IT skills and self-sufficient in the utilisation and application of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
