Covance are currently recruiting for a Systems Project Coordinator for our Immunology and Immunotoxicology department at our site in Harrogate. In this role, you will be responsible for the management, coordination, and tracking of all I&I SOPs, Policies, Guides, and forms, acting as the primary site based coordinator for all I&I documents. Regulatory audit response tracking and Quality Issue reporting and analysis will form part of the role, along with elements of Systems support to the department.

In this role, your duties will include:
  • Assisting with the onboarding of new staff to increase site consistency and ensure onboarding success, and maintaining electronic copies of staff records to include Job Descriptions and CVs, PeopleSoft IDs, contact numbers, years of service etc.
  • Supporting the global systems specialist and process management team by facilitating validation, SPD, and SIA processes as applicable. Co-ordination of System User Review, Periodic review tracking and comment tracking to support global team.
  • Training and assisting with LIMS setup and support, inputting data into various LIMS systems, and troubleshooting related to LIMS as applicable.
  • Supporting Veeva report generation, deviation tracking, and identification of procedural trends to provide departmental visibility and audit tracking as applicable.
  • Assisting with data collection and compilation of metrics as applicable.
  • Coordinating with management, the clients/vendors, QA, and other departments to facilitate vendor and client visits for I&I.
  • Assisting with the tracking of all Analytical Procedures (AP) and Working Documents (WD) to support the operational teams.
  • Designing, creating, and amending forms for laboratory and office use as requested in order to help procedures to be carried out effortlessly and efficiently.
  • Other administrative support as required.

Education/Qualifications:
Degree in a relevant scientific field would be preferred, however relevant working experience in a GLP environment would be considered.
Experience:
  • Adept with MS Office, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Knowledge of GLP/GCP and regulatory requirements is advantageous.
  • Understanding of I&I processes and procedures is desirable.
  • Working knowledge of LIMS systems is desirable.
  • An appreciation of what constitutes as excellent customer service is desirable
