The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a new Regional Sales Manager to develop their growing South Australian region.
Working with the sales manager and supportive sales team you will be responsible for driving our client's success to both new and existing customers within the segments of Dairy, Meat, Grain, Feed and Forage. A strong focus for your region will be on the South Australian wine and beverage markets.
This role encompasses client management and business development by visiting sites that include laboratories, farms, manufacturing, processing plants and wineries. Our client's solutions take you to a vast array of diverse customers ensuring you will always be feeding the ever-growing pipeline, guaranteeing yours and their success. In addition, your remit includes:
  • You thrive with responsibility and have a go-getter mindset
  • Sales through sales calls, face to face meetings and negotiations with customers
  • A thirst for knowledge to continuously update yourself on their new and existing products
  • Active and constant management of your pipeline to achieve sales budget
  • Update and keep accurate records in the CRM database
  • Your base would ideally be in Adelaide; however, you will be willing to travel extensively in your territory
Your Experience
  • Ideally minimum of 3-5 years' experience within the wine or food industry
  • Relevant qualification desirable: Sciences, Engineering, Agriculture, Viticulture or similar
  • Sales experience is preferred, however candidates with commercial aptitude will be considered
  • Proficient within the general computer and main software packages
  • Highly self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Capable of communicating with different levels
  • Negotiation skills and growth achievement in various accounts
  • Organised and systematic with good planning skills
  • Able to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Familiar with good customer service ethics
  • Persistent when pursuing goals.
