The role of Compliance Administrator is to provide technical and administrative support for the EU REACH, UK REACH and Swiss REACH Only Representative (OR) service offered by Covance. Ensuring Covance fulfils necessarylegal obligations required to ensure compliance with current legislation (EU, UK and Swiss REACH) and by generating sustainable revenues. You will work closely alongside the Crop Protection and Chemicals (CPC) Regulatory Consulting department.

Based at our site in Shardlow, Derbyshire, your main responsibilities will be:

 

  • Performing technical and administrative compliance activities for a range of clients adhering to current, relevant, legislative requirements and official recommendations
  • Managing individual projects, including preparation, distribution and maintenance of regulatory and legal documentation relating to the OR service
  • Co-ordinating with the Commercial Team to ensure that customers are invoiced correctly
  • Maintaining accurate and up to date records of enquiries and projects using approved departmental procedures
  • Answering complex enquiries and providing OR advice to clients, agents and personnel within the company
  • Liaising with customers and the regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with Covance's legal obligations as OR
  • Keeping up-to-date with REACH regulations and current trends

Education/Qualifications:

 

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent to include Maths and English A*-C (or equivalent)

 


Experience:

 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work to a high standard of accuracy along with good numeracy skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
  • Self motivated with problem solving skills
