Role: Experienced Medical Writer
Type: Permanent , Full Time
Location: London or Manchester
Salary £30k-£40k D.O.E
I am partnered with a global medical communications organization who are looking for qualified medical writers to join them in bringing innovative solutions and therapies to patients. Well established with a reputable name in the pharma world, they have a great range of work and projects, typically working with clients from early clinical phases through to commercial launch. With tonnes of therapy areas to get stuck into (Oncology, Neurology, Aesthetics to name a few), each day will provide plenty of challenge and reward. Offering award-winning training and development for their staff, along with remote onboarding and a welcoming ‘family feel’ team environment, this opportunity is not to be missed!
Reporting to the Scientific Director, you will be involved in the development of materials for HCP’s from publications through to meetings and creative, across both print and digital channels. You will be excellent in building and maintaining your relationships with clients, as well as with the account and editorial teams to ensure work is finished to the highest standard, on time and on budget.
Skills Required:
As a Medical Writer, you will have at least 1-2 years of experience within a medical communications agency having come from a strong scientific educational background (Life sciences degree with either a MSc or PhD) and will have harnessed a good number of therapy areas so far. Your writing style should be excellent, and you will have a fantastic eye for detail when it comes to editing, reviewing and making suggestions. You are comfortable producing deliverables in a fast-paced environment and are able to adapt your writing style for varied audiences.
