Our International pharmaceutical client is looking for an experienced Manager in IT, where you will be responsible for the oversight of delivery and support of global R&D applications. This role is the single point of contact for various clinical functions in the EMEA region with respect to the use of global R&D systems, working with business leaders and the interface between technical and business.

Main duties and responsibilities:
* Interacts on a regular basis with key stakeholders in NBG, OBG and MDC functions in EMEA region to ensure consistent support is provided to address unmet business needs and resolve issues.
* Coordinates the rollout of global R&D systems to end-users in EMEA.
* Communicates infrastructure changes to ensure no disruption to project deliverables and timelines.
* Leads the troubleshooting of issues faced by EMEA users in the use of global R&D systems, by collaborating with EMEA IT and/or vendors.
* Point of escalation for NBG, OBG and MDC users with respect to issues faced in using global R&D systems.
* Represents the voice of EMEA users in technical discussions
* Participates in key projects to become familiar with new solutions.
* Monitors the delivery of IT services to NBG, OBG and MDC functions in EMEA region using metrics and champions change to improve quality.
* Ensures that SOPs, system SOPs and Work Instructions are followed during the use and support of global R&D systems

Skills & Experience required:
* Demonstrated experience in more than Business Domain in Clinical
* Self-driven individual who can work independently as part of a global team
* Administrating and supporting GxP regulated systems
* Experience in working with various technologies such as SaAS, COTs, desktop etc.
* Experience in managing IT staff and/or consultants
* Experience in managing IT vendors
* Excellent problem solving, written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
* Attention to detail and accuracy of work
* Expert in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Visio) and Office 365 tools.
* Preferred experience in managing or significant contribution in global high-impact IT projects
* Preferred experience in technologies such as Veeva, SAS, EDC systems etc.
* Preferred experience in Business Analysis, Data Modelling, Information Architecture
* Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and CFR Part 11 compliance
