Do you have a time-served apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline paired with proven experience of an engineering and building services maintenance background in a complex and variety of building types?

Are you a self starter with the ability to manage and prioritise your work load between PPL and reactive works allocated?

Job Responsibilties:
  • To monitor, repair and replace controls equipment to building management system
  • To follow Planned Preventative Maintenance regime for Electrical/Mechanical equipment and undertake minor works as required
  • To provide Technical assistance to Team Leader for Electrical/Mechanical problems encountered on site
  • Calibration and commissioning of equipment to Standard Operating Procedures, keeping accurate records at all times
  • Act as a member of the out of hour's call-out team
  • To liaise with other departments when working on plant or equipment which may cause disruption ensuring that department personnel are informed prior to work commences.
  • Work to relevant Company SOP's
  • Observe safety regulations when carrying out work with regard to self and others
  • Manage sub-contractors through disruption of services.
  • Completing internal work requests on building integrity and infrastructure
Education/Qualifications:
  • Qualifications in mechanical or electrical disciplines to O/HNC level
Experience:
  • A time served Apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications in relevant Mechanical or Electrical discipline
  • A Detailed working knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical services to incorporate;
  • Working safely with Steam
  • HWS related plant and equipment
  • Air Handling systems
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems
  • Health & Safety awareness
  • Working Knowledge of Building Management systems
