Job Details

Hobson Prior are currently working with a top pharmaceutical organisation who are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join them on a contract basis in London. The role will be homebased to start with, during Covid-19. This is a broad role which will require someone willing to pick up tasks as required.

Job Responsibilities:

Working closely with Cluster Supply Chain to ensure uninterrupted supply of product to Cluster.

  • Stock checks to ensure they are appropriate, and products have adequate shelf-life.
  • Organisation of daily download and reviewing the stock levels from 3PL partner's portal.
  • Co-ordinating returns, engaging with Quality partner and Responsible Person to ensure measurable compliance.
  • Processing all returns in timely and accurately fashion. All stakeholders are consulted as required in SOP and an accurate return log is being maintained.
  • Some involvement in forecasting process, as required.
  • Liaising with 3PL and Distributors as required.

Managing Order to Cash process and Procure to Pay process.

  • Accountable for SAP system coordination, making sure relevant housekeeping and data reconciliation between pre-wholesale and SAP on daily, weekly and monthly basis is completed on time.
  • Being proficient in all systems related activities including i-doc resolution, sales order processing, good receipt, good issue and batch issue resolution and stock reconciliation between SAP and all 3PLs.
  • Tracking deliveries via 3PL portals.
  • Occasionally, order entry on SAP and participation in appropriate controls around this process.
  • Contact customers for queries on PO/Order etc.
  • To provide support regarding all aspects of Supply Chain from the manufacturing site to the Pre-Wholesalers in UK and Ireland, including SAP business system housekeeping and validation of 3rd party distribution data.
  • Conduct weekly checks of data alignment between 3rd party distribution and SAP via Excel downloads from the Pre-Wholesalers distribution portal, using Pre-Wholesalers distribution portal to retrieve goods receipt documentation to ensure there is inventory alignment with SAP Business System. Highlight exceptions and assist in driving their resolution.
  • Assist with the administration of returns procedure, retrieving the goods return notes from Pre-Wholesalers distribution portal and filing all auditable documents, for SAP returns and credit reconciliation process.

Any other assigned duties.

  • Experience of delivering quality service to customers in a compliant environment.
  • Exceptional organisation skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Problem solving mentality and a quick learner with desire to broaden skillset.
  • Proficient in excel.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of Supply Chain and customer services environments, with at least 5 years' experience.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems including packages relating to Customer Order Processing and Supply Chain management.
  • SAP experience is essential.
