Senior Manager; Programmer within Epidemiology.
Location: Homebased or Uxbridge
Day Rate: £400-600 per day
Contract length: 6 months
i-Pharm has partnered with a research-based biopharmaceutical company for a lead role for an internal real-world data programmer and data analytics specialist. The client is requiring a specialist programmer to use advanced modelling techniques to use real world data and analytics for internal requests.
RESPONSIBILTIES
- Producing high quality, replicable analysis of internal data assets. Assisting/ leading the real-world data & analytics capabilities by working closely with cross-functional teams. Assisting/ leading on the development of data science platforms Following best practices regarding data science programming: Producing readable and reproducible code. Assessing real world data assets including data licenses and data platforms as well as appraising new analytic tools. Leading standardization of data structure and analytics of in-house data and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices and standards.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Doctoral or Master's degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MS) in health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, computer science, or relevant degree. Experience using real-world data commonly used in epidemiology/HEOR studies (e.g. administrative claims, disease/exposure registries, EMRs). Advanced programming capacity in any two of the following software packages: Python/SAS/R/SQL. Knowledge of visualization software (Tableau, R Shiny, Python, Spotfire) Experience with observational research and RWEMust have excellent communication and written skills. Must also enjoy working within various departments Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
