Your key responsibilities:

• Develop biomarker strategies for various programs across the drug discovery phases.
• Design and execution of the biomarker strategy and studies for various projects, including studies in the area of target engagement, PD, safety and stratification
• Be innovative in the design of assay platforms/technologies development and ways of biomarker identification and validation.
• Optimize existing processes within the Translational Sciences team and in the project execution planning.
• Participate and provide scientific and strategic input into internal and external meetings as well as corporate presentations and publications
• Be responsible for a team of scientists and technicians to enable biomarker research for clients 

Your ideal qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences or similar and several years of experience in a similar role within Pharma or Biotech
• Deep knowledge in a scientific area, for example in Oncology, Metabolic Disorders, or Immunology/Neuroscience.
• Expert in biomarker discovery, development and validation
• In depth knowledge of key technologies in the field of translational research such as Immuno-assays and protein measurements
• Ability to lead a team of people.
• Previous leadership experience by managing a group of scientists and technicians
