Principal Scientist - Translational Science - Neurology
I am partnered with an exciting biotech who are rapidly expanding within R&D. My clients focus is the development of first-in-class small molecules in an emerging drug class. I am seeking an experienced scientist within neurology to lead in the translational strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead translational marker strategies within CNS
- Design and deliver in vivo target engagement, PD and marker studies
- Analysis and interpretation of complex data
- Defining timescales and meeting deadlines for studies
- Build and maintain CNS translational network
- Author research reports in support of regulatory documentation
Your Background:
- PhD in Neurology, Neuroscience or similar
- Experience within pharma or biotech
- Experience within translational markers related to CNS indications
- Practical in vivo experience ideally in areas such as protein spreading and seeding, proteostasis mechanisms, mis-folding and aggregation, neuroinflammation etc
