CMC Leader, Pharma Client (field based - UK ) Permanent

This is an opportunity for an experienced CMC professional to join our drug development client on a permanent, full time basis to take charge of the pre-clinical product manufacturing and development processes by working closely with vendor CDMO partners, pre-clinical CROs and formulation teams across several UK sites.

Helping to develop their lead asset, you will oversee the manufacturing activities (both internal activities and external with CMO / Vendors) and to provide early technical troubleshooting where necessary.

You will interact closely with colleagues to provide a pivotal link between R&D processing and CMC manufacturing in both pre-clinical and also planning a strategy for clinical formulation stage projects set to take place in Q1 2021 using nasal delivery treatments and as such, prior experience in this field will be of particular interest to our client.

Prior experience of providing support with the selection & oversight of CMO firms will be beneficial and you will also take part in GMP audits where applicable.

This leading role has a broad scope of responsibilities that also includes involvement and oversight of the supplies chain activities of drug substances and working with colleagues analytical development in the generation of new materials (GMP).

Experience of working in Schedule 1 regulations and practices is highly desirable

This is a new position with a unique drug development company who have already received several rounds of funding with plenty of development plans in the pipeline.
