Job Details

Hobson Prior are looking for a Site Contracts Manager to join a leading biopharmaceutical company who purely concentrate on neurology and immunology. This position will be on a permanent basis located in Slough.


Job Responsibilities:

Work together with the clinical study team to determine the specifics of the clinical trial to be considered in the clinical site/investigator contract terms and conditions. Making sure to identify potential specifics relating to sites/country.

Team up with Legal, IP Legal, and other departments, as necessary, to customise standard site and investigator contracts for each trial and country.

Work alongside the clinical study teams, Compliance, etc. to include acceptable fees/budget for clinical site/investigator services for studies and programs.

Develop thorough conditions of the project events, distribute to CRO, and manage the negotiation progression with the clinical sites/investigators by supporting the CRO as needed.

You will provide support with negotiations and management of contracts and identify changes to insure a profitable, prompt and effective solution to outsourcing needs. You will take the lead on negotiations when necessary.

Ensure that all contracts suitably represent the responsibilities of the several parties involved in the clinical study.

You will support the Head of Site Contract Management in strategic and operational questions and issues related to site contract management.

Track and ensure implementation of all clinical site/investigator contracts, as well as the circulation and filing.

Accountable for making sure all business SOPs are observed and federal regulations and current GCP guidelines are followed with respect to SCP.

Communicate on daily basis with SCP personnel and other relevant interfaces to ensure integration of activities.

Ensure that investigator performance is regularly assessed and shared with SCP personnel and relevant interfaces during regular debriefings.

Identify business development prospects and take part in and/or lead in the production of solutions which improve SCP efficiency and effectiveness.

Contribute to the growth of a global library of standard contract templates.

Skills:

Experience reading Clinical Study Protocol and understanding its Schedule of Assessments.

Team leadership and strong people management skills (verbal and written).

Able to work effectively in a global environment, considering different cultures and laws.

Capability to deliver mentoring and training to peers and other groups.

Exceptional verbal and written communication in English.

Good negotiation, facilitation, and conflict management skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Expertise in the Microsoft office suite.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Aptitude in forecasting budget projections.

Requirements:

Educated to a minimum of bachelor's degree level in a scientific, financial, legal or business-related subject.

Possessing a master's degree with the same focus is preferred however job-related experience will be acceptable, a legal/business background being beneficial.

Vast prior knowledge and experience negotiating legal language and budgets with clinical sites/investigators.

Risk-based experience is essential.

You will be proficient with site agreement finalisation for UK, Australia, APAC, and Western Europe.

Prior experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industry with experience managing and/or working with CROs is a necessity.

Proven successful investigator site contract negotiations is desirable.
