Research Statistician - Health Technology Assessment/Real World Evidence

My client are a leading global consultancy within healthcare. They are currently seeking a Research Statistician profile to join their Global Health Economics team and work on the development of network meta analysis and HTA requirements They are looking for a strong profile with at least 3 years experience in this space to join the team and be a driving force in their growth phase. 

 Qualifications; 

• Post graduate qualification in Statistics, Mathematics, Health Economics, Biostatistics​

Experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Meta-analytic techniques, in particular network meta-analyses
• Survival analysis including extrapolation of survival estimates
• A proven academic record through peer-reviewed publication and conference presentation
• Formal training or experience in Bayesian analyses methodologies
• The ability to identify and develop analytic approaches to solve complex challenges
• Demonstrated experience leading projects, or statistical efforts within projects
• Extensive programming experience with statistical packages, particularly R

Desirable, but not essential:

• Experience with treatment switching methods in survival analysis and/or single-arm methods such as matched-adjusted indirect comparisons
• Knowledge of HTA requirements for the UK, Germany, Australia, and/or Canada
• Experience conducting retrospective data analyses, prospective analyses linked to clinical trials, utility assessment, and quality of life studies
• Experience in supporting submissions to reimbursement and regulatory agencies such as NICE, SMC, GB-A, and CADTH
• Experience with statistical packages such as SAS and/or STATA and use of WinBugs, OpenBugs, or JAGs
