Job Details

Planet Pharma are pleased to be recruiting for an experienced Clinical Development Director on behalf of a leading Biotechnology company in Switzerland.

They have three programs in the clinic, with more coming through from preclinical. They have recently made some fantastic hires for the Clinical Development, Clinical Operations and Pharmacovigilance teams and so are looking forward to the future to add to that solid foundation. Due to the confidential nature of this role we are not able to disclose too much about their technology however, they have attracted some fantastic talent from industry-leading biotechnology companies as well as Nobel-prize nominated labs so there must be something interesting going on! They are looking to change the landscape of Immuno-Oncology forever, could you be the one to help them?

With a primary focus on Immunology or Immuno-Oncology, you will hold an MD-PhD with relevant specialization and proven experience of working within clinical development from Translational studies through to Phase II.

You will work under and alongside the Head of Clinical Development as their right-hand person and lead the early phase clinical development. They will work in tandem with you and focus on late phase research. In the team they also have some more junior members straight from academia you may be expected to mentor and help them as you go. As the company grows there will be ample development opportunity. This is a highly visible role expected to work with internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for hands on, early phase clinical development as well as high level strategy for the programs so need to be ready to pull your sleeves up!
