Freelance Statistical Programmer - Real World Data - UK

6 to 12 month contract

A leading global CRO has partnered with i-Pharm to recruit for a freelance Statistical Programmer. The company offer flexible working from home or office based. This is an excellent opportunity to work with cross functional teams to develop analysis plans using internal trial/ real world data.

THE ROLE

    Assisting in building their internal real-world data & analytics capabilities by working closely with cross-functional teams Assisting in developing data science platform and data analytics infrastructure To act as a principal SAS programming contact within the analysis of real-world data and other analytics data sources and implementation of advanced analytics techniques Working closely with the cross-functional team members in developing analysis plans for internal data generation requests using internal trial data sources and/or real-world data Assessing real-world data assets including data licenses and data platforms as well as appraising new analytic tools.
    Leading standardisation of data structure and analytics of in-house data and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices and standards through engagement with groups leading such initiatives in the research community Managing conversion of real-world raw data to common data structure and maintenance of coding library/analytics templates to support observational research/real-world studies

REQUIRMENTS

    Must have UK citizenship or a tier 2 working Visa. MSc or PhD within epidemiology, biostatistics, public health or any other relevant subject
    Must have advanced programming experience within SAS and ideally with one of Python/R/SQL. CDISC competent across either SDTM/ ADAMs Advanced experience across various therapeutic studies including epidemiology. Proficiency in statistical, computational, and machine-learning methodologies for prospective and retrospective studies (multivariate modelling, IVA, Propensity score-based methodologies Knowledge of visualisation software (Tableau, R Shiny, Python, Spotfire)
