I am exclusively collaborating with a dynamic and innovative Biotech company, specialising in Immuno-oncology. The company are utilising T Cell Receptor (TCR) cell therapies; in particular, TCR guided Natural Killer cells (TCR-NK) as an allogeneic cellular therapeutic option for a variety of solid tumour types.

We seek an experienced academic with Natural Killer Cell biology expertise. You will be a pivotal player in supporting the development of next-generation TCR-NK cell platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop NK cell proficiencies for the company, enabling in vitro evaluation of the company’s portfolio
  • Initiate, lead and execute hands-on laboratory work advancing company objectives
  • Contribute to the design and evaluation of vectors (viral and non-viral) for the introduction of TCR cargo into NK cells
  • Offer insights and expertise on technical elements and direction of experiments
  • Collaborate closely with academic and commercial partners
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest technical and theoretical developments in the field of allogeneic cell therapy; providing guidance to others within the team as well as new members of staff on scientific and technical direction

Your Background

  • Demonstrable expertise in NK Cell Biology is crucial
  • PhD or Doctoral degree in Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology or a related discipline
  • > 3 years of Post-Doctoral relevant life science experience 
  • Cell engineering experience preferred
  • A strong understanding of immunology and experience in NK cell biology
  • Expertise in T and NK cell-based assays (e.g. ELISA/ELISpot, FACS, cancer cell killing, multiplex cytokine assays etc.)
  • Expertise in molecular biology; retroviral and lentiviral experience, cell culture (primary, cell lines, spheroids) as well as prior in vivo work would be advantageous
  • Experience in contributing content to clinical trial applications would be advantageous
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
  • Ability to be based in Norway
