Job Title: Patient Safety Physician

Location: Berkshire, United Kingdom

Schedule: Permanent OR Freelance, Full Time

TalentSource Life Sciences, the division of CROMSOURCE dedicated to flexible staffing solutions, is currently recruiting for a Physician to join our client-based team. This is for one of the leading global biopharmaceutical companies, with a focus on immunology and neurology.

This is a permanent job opportunity, however we can consider freelancers inside IR35.

The Patient Safety Physician will be working on a Phase III study with multiple indications.

Job specific tasks and responsibilities:
  • Key contributor and assessor of the benefit-risk profile of products, including signal detection activities and risk minimisation strategies.
  • Provide support to the Safety Lead for Benefit Risk Team, Global Labelling Committee, Benefit Risk Board, and Patient Value Units.
  • Contribute to the scientific analysis and review of various sources of safety data (e.g. regulatory, clinical, submissions, legal, product quality).


Education, Qualifications & Experience:
  • MD, with GMC registration required.
  • Experience working within Pharmacovigilance, including one or more areas from safety surveillance/signal detection and management, benefit-risk assessment or safety risk management in either the development or marketed setting.
  • Excellent English scientific writing and communication skills
  • An ability to work in a matrix environment.
  • Formal training in analytical skills such as biostatistics or epidemiology.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Previous experience with Rare Diseases would be beneficial.
