Business Unit Manager, Surgical Medical Devices, broad portfolio, Ireland

My client is a major distributor of specialised surgical medical devices. They are looking for a talented sales person with an already established network of hospitals in Ireland. You'll be leading up the Business Unit for specific surgical devices and be in charge of the budget, coaching/development and sales strategy nation-wide.

This company has seen growth year on year, so it's an exciting time to join. You'll get to work with a broad range of devices thus expanding your own knowledge and experience - ultimately making you more attractive to prospective employers.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Managing a direct report and leading the business unit.
• Dealing with key suppliers and developing these relationships.
• Budget planning and forecasting.
• Identifying new areas for growth to ensure the development of the business unit.
• Business unit strategy.
• Develop relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships.
• Achievement of sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis.

Who do they look for?

• Previous experience selling surgical medical devices to hospitals across Ireland.
• People management is a bonus.
• Proven track record of delivering continual sales and over-achieving on targets
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, attention to details and organisational skills
