Role: Senior Medical Writer

Type: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Oxford, UK

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Depending on Experience

I am looking for a Senior Medical Writer for a growing, independent medical communications agency based in the heart of Oxford. They have a fantastic, close-knit culture offering a supportive and collaborative work environment. Having established a great standing amongst their clients, they are well trusted and have secured an assortment of large accounts, both UK and Global, across a wide variety of therapy areas. 

Reporting to the Editioral Director, you will be working across a broad range of deliverables such as meetings and symposia, publications, educational training, internal communications and more in order to deliver strategic communications to clients. You will work well with clients and act as a key scientific point of contact, ensuring projects are finished on time and to brief. Upon settling into the role, there will also be the chance to offer mentorship and guidance to junior members within the team.

You will bring with you to the role:

• Demonstrable, strong written experience within medcomms – atleast 2-3 years of experience within an agency and the ability to adapt your writing style to different audiences.
• BSc educated in life science (MSc/PhD desirable).
• Working knowledge of the industry and therapy areas.
• Good time management, organisational and communication skils.
• Proactive working style – autonomously/ part of a team.
