Job Details
Our organisation is growing rapidly, and we are recruiting for a Senior Logistics and Distribution Manager who will drive, manage and lead the implementation of various projects and programmes with local markets. The role will be responsible for enhancing logistics and distribution performance and efficiency from factory door to customers/distributors with the goal of simplifying and standardising processes, improving quality and optimising costs. Applicants must have a solid understanding, knowledge and experience in supply chain, transportation, warehousing, customs and project management within a pharmaceutical environment.
Candidates must be eligible to live/work in the UK .
Key accountabilities:
- Management of the Logistics and Distribution Department
- Strategy and Planning
- Team and Partner Management
Technical/Professional Expertise:
- A Master’s degree, or equivalent, from an accredited college or university with emphasis on the areas of business management, logistics, transport, planning, supply chain, or operations management.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a business operation, supply chain, manufacturing environment or continuous improvement process.
- Very good understanding, knowledge and experience in supply chain, transportation, warehousing, customs and project management within a Pharmaceutical environment.
- Good knowledge of computer applications, MS-Excel, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, and ERP.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)

- Experience in multi-national transportation logistics and project management with the drive and energy to implement change.
- Has global orientation and thorough understanding to implement continuous improvement and optimisation.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically, both independently and in a problem-solving team-oriented environment.
- Organisational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
- Ability to actively participate or lead projects with geographically diverse teams.
