Director (Clinical Development)

Hobson Prior are working with a world-wide healthcare organisation whose products and services are used to help care for patients who are critically ill. Our client is looking for a Director (Clinical Development) to join them on a permanent basis in Genève.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will manage the design and implementation of clinical programs and studies in support of an overall Clinical Development Plan.
• Oversee the medical aspects of clinical studies including among others medical monitoring, protocol deviations, data integrity, and review· Design, analyse, interpret, and report scientific content of protocols, reports, and plans.
• Partake in cross-functional teams to generate, deliver, and interpret high-quality clinical data.
• Provide in-house clinical expertise, leading and coordinating appropriate scientific and medical activities with internal and external stakeholders· Contribute to the data disclosure plans including publications before approval.
• Represent as a clinical interface and actively solicit opinion leader interactions.
• Provide guidance, performance/career development, coaching and mentoring as well as timely feedback to the team.

Key Skills:

• Ability to lead and manage complex research/clinical research projects and to assess risks.
• Hands on mentality and entrepreneurial mindset.

Requirements:

• Medical Doctor (M.D.), subspecialty fellowship desirable but not essential.
• Several years' experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Knowledge of clinical trial methodology, regulatory, and compliance requirements, as well as experience in development of clinical strategy and the design of study protocols· Strong strategic thinking and decision making.
• Fluency in English (German and/or French would be assets).
