Freelance Statistical Programmer - Real World Data - Uxbridge

i-Pharm Consulting is seeking on behalf of a Top Global CRO a Freelance Statistical Programmer with Real-World Data Experience. The contract is ideal for candidates located near the companies Uxbridge location; this is an office-based role but with the current climate it is home-based until the office reopens. Candidates must ideally have advanced programming capacity in any two of the following software packages: Python/SAS/R/SQL. (R preferred)

THE ROLE

• Assisting in building their internal real-world data & analytics capabilities by working closely with cross-functional teams
• Assisting in developing data science platform and data analytics infrastructure
• Serving as subject matter expert in the analysis of real-world data and other analytics data sources and implementation of advanced analytics techniques
• Working closely with the cross-functional team members in developing analysis plans for internal data generation requests using internal trial data sources and/or real-world data
• Assessing real-world data assets including data licenses and data platforms as well as appraising new analytic tools.
• Leading standardisation of data structure and analytics of in-house data and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of best practices and standards through engagement with groups leading such initiatives in the research community
• Managing conversion of real-world raw data to common data structure and maintenance of coding library/analytics templates to support observational research/real-world studies

REQUIRED

• Experience using real-world data (both US and ex-US) commonly used in epidemiology/HEOR studies (e.g. administrative claims, disease/exposure registries, EMRs).

• Proficiency in statistical, computational, and machine-learning methodologies for prospective and retrospective studies (multivariate modeling, IVA, Propensity score-based methodologies)
• Advanced programming capacity in any two of the following software packages: Python/SAS/R/SQL. (R preferred)
• Knowledge of visualisation software (Tableau, R Shiny, Python, Spotfire)
• Doctoral or master's degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MS) epidemiology, biostatistics, public health.
