Staff Nurse ( Renal)

Renal Staff Nurse
On behalf of my client, I am recruiting for a Renal Staff Nurse.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Dialysis team, and take personal responsibility and accountability for ensuring all policies and procedures are known and followed.
Key responsibilities include:
• Organise and participate in the delivery of a high standard of nursing care
• Report any changes in a patient’s condition to a member of the multidisciplinary team
• Contribute towards health promotion for all patients
• Escort patients who require help to their transport
• Be responsible for ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment
• Ensure readiness for use of special equipment and availability of nursing supplies

Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse with current INNC to practice
• Completion of training for additional clinic skills such as IV drug administration/cannulation and venipuncture
• Evidence of an ability to critically appraise and utilise research to maintain and improve patient care
• Excellent written and verbal skills – fluent in English
• Ability to build good relationships with both patients and staff – excellent communication skills
• Organisational skills for coordination and provision of care needs of patients
• Ability to work well as part of a team
