As part of IQVIA’s Medical and Patient Communications agency team, our Product and Strategy Director will be responsible for the evolution, articulation, training, uptake and successful sales and delivery of new products and services in Medical Communications, with particular emphasis on Scientific Communications

  • Ensure innovation and solution evolution by collaborating with IQVIA colleagues across Research and Development and Real World Evidence to develop and embed a compelling value proposition and set of services to enable global growth of IQVIA Evidence Dissemination services – from publications committees, publications planning and execution to communications plans and data visualisation tools
  • Support go to market strategy in-market / region to launch and systematically drive momentum for new products and services, providing key materials including product suite, pricing, cases and approach to mobilise IQVIA sales capabilities
  • Translate differentiated and innovative products and services into new business opportunities by collaborating with BD colleagues to support targeting of and approaches to, target assets and companies for relevant services
  • Take responsibility for a NNB target associated with identified products and services
  • Provide subject matter expert input to proactive and reactive BD opportunities at a regional level and in identified markets, IQVIA Medical and Patient Communications, and other resources
  • Play a key role in guiding won business for product pilot programmes to ensure quality and growth

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Collaborate with Medical and Patient Communications and other IQVIA evidence generation colleagues develop end to end IQVIA Evidence Dissemination product map and differentiated value proposition
  • Lead development of core materials including credentials, cases, pricing to ensure consistent product communication
  • Support the development of go-to-market materials and sales training and strategy globally, regionally, amongst client HQ teams and locally in identified markets as required
  • Evolve offering to include new capabilities and acquisitions as required
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to ensure initial and ongoing differentiation of IQVIA services
  • Collaborate and advise on national / regional partnerships which strengthen Product offerings (e.g. collaborations with academic institutions, tech partners)
  • Identify marketing and thought leadership activity required at global, regional and national level; work with marketing partners to coordinate
  • Participate in thought leadership articles and presentations as an SME for IQVIA
  • Provide subject matter expertise around new products and services for reactive and proactive BD activities
  • Achieve pull through of new projects associated with new products, fully integrating into IQVIA BD processes in key regions and countries, including prospecting plans, pipeline calls, RFP responses, client meetings, pitches etc as appropriate
  • Support targeting of companies and assets for new product and service business development approaches
  • Provide strategic leadership role to oversee strategic and operational delivery of pilot programmes
  • Work with IQVIA leaders to develop roadmap to scale Evidence Dissemination sales and delivery capabilities
