Development Project Team Leader

Hobson Prior are currently seeking a Development Project Team Leader to join a pioneering clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company who specialise in small-protein therapies with the aim of transforming the lives of those with cancer.

Job Responsibilities:

Outline project proposals in alignment with all stakeholders, setting clear direction for all contributing parties.

Creates and maintains up-to-date project documentation.

Organises and provides strategic input to mid/long-term project plans.

Works in collaboration with all key functions to ensure effective cross-functional communication and project implementation.

Ensures that team members are working collectively toward project objectives and that everyone understands and supports these, providing the necessary resources required.

Recognises and addresses project relevant risks and issues; driving resolutions, challenging the processes and implementing practical solutions where necessary.

Enable and ensure timely decision making by management and team.

Supporting the project by preparing/coordinating all project communications.

Organising project team meetings.

High attention to detail and ability to understand complex problems.

Exceptional aptitude to simplify problems, recognise key issues, and formulate logical solutions.

Superb communication skills, fluent in English (written and spoken).

Excellent computer literacy all standard MS.

Good understanding of required contributions from all research and development functions to project progression at any development stage.

Requirements:

Educated to a PhD level in life sciences or MD with scientific education is essential.

Scientific background (academic or working) in immuno-oncology, oncology and/or immunology is vital.

At least 5years of experience as Project Team Leader of (or key contributor to) early or late stage clinical projects or projects transitioning into clinical development.

Previous practical contribution to at least some key strategic clinical study documents.

Prior knowledge of GXP and regulatory requirements is beneficial.
