Due to growth in business, my client is seeking a Senior Analytical Chemist to join the quality team.

Reporting to the Head of Quality, this position will be responsible for: -

  • Provide specialised analytical support 
  • Method & product related investigations
  • Responding to customer queries in regards to methodology or product quality
  • Ensure analyses are undertaken strictly to the code of cGMP & company QMS
  • Responsible for ensuring validations and investigations are conducted to timelines as specified by Site Validation Master Plan
  • Develop new, and improve previous methods within the QC Lab
  • Validate analytical methods in accordance with cGMP (TGA, EU, FDA) etc
  • Conduct routine analytical testing 
  • Provide support during instrumental breakdowns

Suitability Requirements: - 

  • Ideally 5+ years experience within an analytical laboratory setting 
  • Tertiary Degree in a scientific field
  • Ability to pass a good character requirement test and an Police check, including bankruptcy check 
  • Understanding of the code of GMP, ideally from within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical experience, particularly with method development, understanding the principles of QbD
  • Strong experience of using HPLC, UPLC, GC, ICP
  • Root cause analysis and CAPA
  • Technical report writing
